My Entry for DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year 2019

As Honorary Ambassador to the Tulsi Foundation, whose mission is to “protect the protectors” I have focused on Bengal Tigers. I have submitted 2 paintings both in the Category “Vanishing Fast”.

My Vanishing World

A Royal Bengal Tiger photographed in Ranthambore National Park, Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan India. I am most grateful to my very good friend Dr Chetan Trivedy, Director and Founder of The Tulsi Foundation,  who gave me permission to use his photograph as my reference for this painting.

Painting in Soft Pastel and Pastel Pencil .

T38 – The Stalker

These imperial Bengal Tigers are given a number to identify them and some are also given a name. This beautiful male is T38.

Painted in Black, white and shades of grey soft pastel on Hahnemuhle White Velour.

My reference photograph came from my very good friend Dr Chetan Trivedy of the Tulsi Foundation when he recently visited  Ranthambore National Park Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan India
