Our pets are important members of our family. They also hold an important connection between us and the surrounding wildlife. Often pet owners will find greater affinity with animals, and are more interested in helping support wildlife.

Judith’s Approachto Pet Portraits

As with my wildlife artwork, the eyes are the key to the distinct nature of your friend. After the eyes, I focus on the facial features and again this helps to express the character of your pet in the painting. I aim to capture the colour and life within your pet to give you a lasting memory of your beloved pet.

Pet portraits make a unique Christmas, birthday, wedding or anniversary present or just a gift to yourself.

Over the last few years I have been commissioned to do a number of diverse pet portraits, from dogs and cats, to rabbits, guinea pigs, horses and birds. I can adapt my technique to capture the spirit of your favourite pet and friend.
