This painting was inspired by my visit to The Bird of Prey Centre based at Shuttleworth, Old Walden, Bedfordshire, which is only a few miles from where I live in Hertfordshire. They regularly hold flying displays of their lovely Owls, Hawks and Falcons, allowing you to handle the birds and get to know their individual personalities.
