This painting was inspired by my recent visit to The Bird of Prey Centre based at Shuttleworth, Old Walden, Bedfordshire, which is only a few miles from where I live in Hertfordshire. They regularly hold flying displays of their lovely Owls, Hawks and Falcons and you are able to handle the birds allowing you a very close up view of them and their individual personalities.
