We are fortunate in Hertfordshire to have a number of resident Red Kites. They are beautiful birds to watch spiralling effortlessly up on the thermals, an almost daily treat as I walk my dogs.
This painting was inspired by a photograph taken by my friend Dorothy Tulloch’s husband, Jim, and then given to me to paint. I understand he spent over an hour waiting to get this fabulous shot.
