Having sketched out my Cheetah Cub to establish shape and tonal values I then transferred the image to Pastelmat and painted in the eyes and nose using pastel pencils. The pencils enable me to put in the all the variations in colour of the eyes and then the shape and texture of the nose and the black tearduct line down to the corner of the mouth
